Biography
b. Kelendria Rowland, 11 February 1981, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Rowland is one third of the chart-topping US R&B vocal group Destiny’s Child where Beyonce also are the members of trio. Late in 2001, the trio issued a holiday recording, 8 Days Of Christmas, before disclosing to the public that they were going on a temporary hiatus to pursue solo projects. Rowland’s debut solo single, “Dilemma“, a duet with rapper Nelly, was released in summer 2002 and quickly climbed to the top of the US singles chart (it later topped the UK chart as well). Later the same year, Rowland’s full-length solo debut, Simply Deep, was issued, expectedly charting high on the US charts upon release.
